- This driver provides full support for Thunderbolt 3 eGFX enclosures configured with Radeon R9 Fury, Nano or 300 Series GPUs. This driver also provides plug n play simplicity, plus an integrated management interface for such devices.

Note:
- Not all notebooks or 2-in-1s feature AMD XConnect technology, and not all electronic graphics (eGFX) enclosures are pre-configured with an AMD Radeon graphics card and/or feature user upgradability. Base system's software package and BIOS must be configured to support AMD XConnect technology. System must have Thunderbolt 3 connection.
Resolved Issues: - The Division may experience flickering in AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- DOTA2 toggling between borderless fullscreen and exclusive fullscreen can sometimes cause flickering or corruption when in AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- Some DirectX 9 applications cannot disable AMD Crossfire technology mode through Radeon Settings.
- GPU clocks on some products may remain in high states after recovering from an application crash.
- A small subset of AMD Radeon R9 380 users may be experiencing slower than expected fan speeds.
- Power efficiency toggle in Radeon Settings is showing up for some unsupported products.
- The check for software updates feature in Radeon Settings may not find the latest available update.
- Some games may fail to show up in Radeon Settings gaming tab.
- The Radeon Settings option may sometimes disappear as a shortcut from the right-click context menu on desktop after a software upgrade.
- SteamVR Performance Test may experience flickering in AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- Stuttering or corruption observed while playing Fallout 4 on some graphics products in AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- Corruption in Hitman when using AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- Stuttering or freezing in some loading scenes while playing Hitman using AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- Negative scaling seen on Hitman when using AMD Crossfire technology mode.
Known Issues: - A few game titles may fail to launch or crash if the AMD Gaming Evolved overlay is enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable the AMD Gaming Evolved "In Game Overlay".
- HDMI Scaling options may not be available in Radeon Settings on some system configurations or some applications may ignore the HDMI Scaling options setting.
- The option to enable/disable AMD Crossfire technology logo may be missing on some system configurations from the Gaming, Global Options tab in Radeon Settings.
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt inventory and character pages may exhibit flickering in AMD Crossfire technology mode.
- Radeon Settings game manager does not display icons for Origin Games.
- AMD Radeon Pro Duo users may experience a system crash or hang after resuming from sleep or hibernate.
NOTE: - This driver is not intended for use on AMD products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their system manufacturer for driver support.
- When installing the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.2 Driver for the Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.2 Driver.
- The AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.2 Driver requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed.

How-To Uninstall AMD Radeon Software: - Start by opening the Control Panel
- For Windows 10/8.1, right-click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Context Menu
- For Windows 7, click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Start Menu
- In the Control Panel select Programs and Features
- Select AMD Install Manager and then click Uninstall/Change
- Check all items, and then click the Uninstall button.
- Note: If you had others versions of AMD drivers installed previously, you should get an additional prompt providing the options to remove All Versions or Current Version.
- Select All Versions to remove all AMD drivers and application components (recommended).
- Select Current Version will uninstall only the latest version of the drivers and its related components.
- The uninstall process will begin removing drivers and software components.
- Select Restart Now to complete the uninstallation process.
- To verify that the AMD Radeon Software has been removed from the system, return to the Program and Features list, and check that there are no AMD entries. If AMD specific entries are still listed, remove them using the above process.
How-To Install AMD Radeon Software: - Ensure that any existing versions of AMD Radeon Software on the system have been uninstalled before proceeding with installing a new driver.
- Close all opened applications including anti-virus, firewall, remote-access, or webcam software before attempting the install process.
- Double-click the downloaded file and select Install to begin file extraction process.
- Note: It is recommended to use the default destination folder for installation.
- Select the desired components or keep default selection (recommended) and click Install.
- The drivers and software components will begin installing.
- Note: The screen will flicker whilst the AMD Radeon Software is being installed. If you have multiple displays, some of them may turn black for a few seconds.
- Once the drivers and software have been successfully installed, choose Restart Now
- Note: A system restart is required to complete the installation process.​
